Whether you are seeking personal restoration or wanting to cultivate a more supportive\, Christlike presence for others\, you are welcome here. \nWhat to Expect\nOver four days\, we will take a fresh\, honest look at how the Christian faith can be a sanctuary for trauma recovery. We reject easy spiritual platitudes and instead explore the ways in which God meets us in the reality of our trauma journey. Together\, we will learn how to make our everyday living harmonise with God’s healing work in us and those around us. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Through this course\, we will explore:\n\nThe Brain\, Body\, and Spirit Connection: Understanding how trauma impacts our whole being\, and how God designed us for survival and recovery.\nA Trauma-Healing Theology: Exploring foundational truths from the unified narrative of the Hebrew Bible and New Testament that underpin the healing and transformation of trauma.\nCreating Safety in our Practices and Teaching: Practical\, trauma-sensitive awareness to make our homes\, churches\, and relationships places of true emotional and spiritual safety.\n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Creating Safety is a Priority\nDuring the training and any discussions\, we will not be sharing stories of harm. \nThis is a low-pressure environment. Bring your questions\, your weariness\, and a heart to learn. \nWe would be deeply honoured to welcome you into this space of learning\, growth\, and gentle connection. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				About Claire\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Background to the Training\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				This is CPD Accredited\nClaire is an Accredited coach with the ACC and all her trauma training courses have been accredited by the ACC as CPD in Pastoral care. Claire is also an approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provider with The CPD Group\, and the Beloved and Entrusted Christian Trauma Training has been accredited for 6 CPD units. On completion of the whole training and a questionnaire\, you will be entitled to two certificates as proof of your CPD – one from The CPD Group and another with ACC accreditation. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Group Sizes\nTo ensure that the group process feels as comfortable and safe as possible at our training events\, we require a minimum number of enrolled participants: four for an online event or course\, and six for an in-person one. \nIn the unlikely event that we have not reached this minimum number seven days before the training is due to start\, the event will not proceed. We need to create a safe space for everyone during each session\, its helpful for each of us to be able to see who else is ‘in the room’ with us. Everyone present plays an important role\, contributing to the safety & learning of the whole group; audio & video help this happen. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Do I need to attend every session?\n				Yes please\, for both content and process reasons. Each session builds on the ones before in terms of the material covered\, but also in terms of the journey we take together and discussions we have. If you miss a session both you and the group will miss out. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				What materials will I need for the training?\n				You will receive a course booklet through the post. You’ll need this and something to make notes in it with. Other than that make sure that you’re in a quiet\, distration free place\, private enough for you to talk and with good internet on a device with a camera and microphone. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Will there be the opportunity for trauma counseling\, therapy or prayer ministry?\n				If you require prayer ministry\, therapy or counseling we would strongly encourage you to access this from an experienced therapist who is qualified to help those who carry trauma. We will not be providing these services during the Beloved and Entrusted Christian Trauma Training. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				How do I claim my CPD credits?\n				First you will need to attend all four sessions from start to finish. Soon after the training you will receive a questionnaire to fill in; this will allow you to show how you are applying what you have learnt. On completion of the questionnaire you will receive a link to download your certificate. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				If I cancel will I get a full refund?\n				If you cancel your booking at least 10 days before the course begins\, you will receive a refund less stripe and eventbrite ticketing fees\, as well as any postage costs already incurred.
